      Nobody owns the gaps

      The fabricator says it was erected wrong. The erector says it was fabricated wrong. You are the one holding both contracts and the schedule.

      The crew leaves before it runs

      Equipment is bolted down and the contractor demobilizes. Everything that surfaces on the first production run becomes your problem to solve.

      Changes surface too late

      Scope changes get discovered at the end of the month instead of the day they happen, when they are still cheap to solve.

    What we deliver

    Six deliverables under one contract — take the part you need, or all of it.

      Site preparation

      Clearing, excavating and grading.

      Concrete work

      Forming, pouring and finishing foundations and equipment pads.

      Structural steel erection

      Fabricated in our own shop, erected by our own crews.

      Equipment installation

      Setting mechanical equipment onto the steel we erected — debarkers, merch stalls, conveyance, screening plants.

      Demolition and retrofit

      Removing or adapting existing structures to accept new equipment, including inside operating facilities.

    Commissioning

    We stay until it runs

    Equipment can be installed exactly to drawing and still need adjustment the first time real material runs through it.

    We run the material through ourselves. That is when you see where the bark is actually falling, which hydraulic line is weeping, and whether material hangs up at a transition.

    What commissioning covers

    • Running the equipment under real production conditions
    • Correcting hang-up points in material flow
    • Adding chuting so residuals reach the waste conveyor instead of the basement floor
    • Finding and fixing loose fittings and weeping hydraulic lines
    • Working with your maintenance team so they understand the equipment mechanically

    Mechanical training is included. Electrical and controls programming are handled by the equipment manufacturer.

      If there is field work, we walk the area, review drawings and understand the constraints before pricing it.

      Documented, and detailed enough to take to your own budget approval.

      We mobilize

      Crew booking, rotation and accommodation arranged by us, so the work runs continuously.

      We stay through commissioning

      And the project closes when you sign off.

    Questions we get asked

    Both. A single equipment changeout over a weekend is a normal scope for us, and so is an eight-month capital build. The changeout is often how a new client starts working with us.
